SPEED, AGILITY, SPORT SPECIFIC- Consultant to Athletes (Performance Coach) Group and Individual Speed and Weight Training Enhancement A client base of approximately 30 male and female student-athletes of various sports work out to improve athletic skills and performance. I trained ten clients who participated in the 2002 Class IA and Class IIA Florida’s High School Football Championships, including the two winning quarterbacks and eight other state champions. Coached a quarterback and defensive lineman who led their teams to undefeated seasons, and a tennis player who improved her Florida’s state ranking from 50th to 1st in her class 3A State. 2003 7 athletes full scholarships DIV 1A.I have worked overall with 200 athletes mostly camps, 3 high school teams,1 DIV 1A college baseball team and a total of 15 athletes with full scholarships DIV IA, IAA, IIA, IIIA majority football; baseball, Women’s tennis. • November 2006 – Present Jacksonville, Florida JACKSONVILLE JAM – ABA FRANCHISE PRO BASKETBALL Head Strength and Fitness Coach The duties consisted of developing a strength and conditioning program which was implemented during the season and maintained each week with rapid improvement by every player enhancing their performance. In the first year of existence the Jam ended up with the # 2 overall seed in the playoff’s. Broke-down opposition films, ran meetings with players, and wrote scouting reports each week for the game plans. Developed the 2000 Special Teams playbook. Created drills and schemes. Responsible for personnel and tape evaluations; break-downs and advance scouting. Designated game day substitutions and identified opponent’s tendencies. Timed field goal and punt operations during pre-game warm-ups. Executed full coaching responsibilities during mini-camps and training camp; conducted meetings with players and coaches, incorporated techniques and schemes in special teams units, and produced highlight tapes for free agent special teams player signees. Kept records of signings and salaries. Wrote quality control reports and rankings for the NFL Draft for Head Coach. Developed draft evaluations for prospects for scouting. STATE UNIVERSITY Assistant Linebacker and Special Teams Coach - U.S. MILITARY ACADEMY Evaluated game films in meetings, break-down of films: inputting plays and terminology into computer for opponent’s tendencies. For film evaluation, I studied individual players for tendencies and weaknesses. Broke-down tapes into all gadgets and passes; third and long, short yardage, goal line and trick plays. I itemized the game plan, identified the opponents’ offense, formations, and personnel, and charted for the defense during the games. • April 1996 – February 1997 Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Assistant Special Teams/Defensive Backs - LEHIGH UNIVERSITY Kick-off returns coach, and assisted the secondary and special teams. Worked with snappers, holders, punters, and kickers in practice, and pre-game warm-up drills. Responsible for dubbing defenses and slicing practice tapes. Involved with writing the scouting reports and film exchange. Charted defenses during games, and ran the offensive scout team for the defense during practice. Coached NFL RB Rabih Abdullah. • June 1995 – December 1995 Chattanooga, Tennessee Special Teams Coordinator - UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE AT CHATTANOOGA Coached all aspects of special teams, including kickers and punters as well as return units. Experienced strong improvements in field position throughout the course of the season. Developed game-day strategies, game situation practice drills, starting line-ups and scouting reports each week. Mentor to players on and off the field. Coached NFL WR Terrell Owens, former SF 49ers now a Philadelphia Eagles, and Mario Greer former New England Patriot. • Spring 1995 Receivers Coach - WEST LIBERTY STATE UNIVERSITY Assisted spring football as a student. Coached speed work and plyometrics. Administrated the weight training facility for athletes. • July 1994 – February 1995 Bronx, New York Running Backs Coach/Assistant Special Teams - FORDHAM UNIVERSITY Executed game preparation for running backs, and assisted with film break-down. I worked with kickers, returners, and all special teams units during games. Served as assistant strength coach. • August 1991 – May 1993 San Diego, California Student Assistant Football Coach/Assistant Special Teams and Receivers coach - SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY Assisted with all aspects of varsity team preparation and skill training. Coached special teams and receivers in all skill development, practice techniques, playbook study, and game-winning strategies.
